Hoagie Sale
Thanks to all that helped make the Williamstown Fire Company's Annual Hoagie Sale a great success, despite the bad weather! When crews gathered at the Main Street Fire House at 6AM to begin preparing almost 500 hoagies and the weather forecast was calling for rain we thought we were never going to be able to sell that many hoagies! However, with the poor weather and the little league opening day festivities cancelled, the public still came out and showed their support of the fire company by purchasing a foot long Italian Hoagie for $5. To all of our surprise, shortly after noon we were completely sold out. We hope all that got a hoagie enjoyed it! All proceeds from the sales are going towards our Centennial Celebration/Ladder Housing on August 15th which the public is invited to. Again thanks for your support and we hope to see you on August 15th!
Beef and Beer/Comedy Show
On Friday April 3rd the Williamstown Fire Company held its annual Comedy Night/Beef & Beer at the VFW Post in Williamstown. The night went great and was a great success! We thank everyone that helped to make the night so great and to all that came out and supported the Fire Company. The food was great, the comedians were hilarious and the atmosphere was wonderful. We hope all that attended had a great time and plan to return next year!
Death Burial Fund Drive
The 2009 Death Burial Fund Drive is currently under way! The first round of envelopes were mailed out in early March. The Death Burial Fund provides a benefit to the families of the volunteer firemen should their loved one not return home from a call. This is one of the few benefits that a volunteer firefighter's family gets for their loved ones making ultimate sacrifice for the community. More information on the Death Burial Fund can be found here. As always, we appreciate your support!
