- - Sunday 08/31/08 @ 21:01 - MVC Sunday evening Engine 291 was called to the intersection of Corkery Lane and the Black Horse Pike for a motor vehicle crash with entrapment. Command arrived on location and advised of a 2 car crash with multiple injuries. 2 Helicopters were requested to fly and later recalled by the Medics on scene. Several patients were transported by ambulance to area hospitals. Crews on scene secured power to the vehicles. In about an hour the vehicles were removed from the roadway and the station went available.
- - Friday 08/29/08 @ 10:21 - HazMat Friday morning Engine 291 went to Tamarind Place for a HazMat assignment. Reports from dispatch notified of a mixture of fertilizer, paint and household chemicals that was off gassing. County HazMat was called to the scene and upon their arrival the scene was turned over to them. They made entry wearing a HazMat Suite and equipped with a meter to monitor the gases. They were able to determine the fertilizer and paint had caused an exothermic reaction. Once the scene secure and turned over to HazMat their were no further Fire Department services needed so the station went available.
- - Wednesday 08/27/08 @ 03:28 - Investigate Smoke Engine 291 was called to Jones Road for a smoke investigation. Command arrived on scene and confirmed the odor of smoke in the area. Command, along with the Public Safety Director, confirmed the odor of smoke was from a large brush fire in Camden County. The Engine company went available shortly after.
- - Tuesday 08/26/08 @ 20:11 - Brush While Brush 2915 was out on the bike path near Fries Mill Rd for driver training its crew came across a small brush fire. 2915 went into service extinguishing the blaze and was back at driver training within 10 minutes.
